After 5 months of development we have decided to release a beta of the Awesom-o 5.0 botting system for public testing. This way we hope to find nasty bugs with the help of users faster and make it more reliable in the final release.

Some of you may have already noticed Awesom-O 5.0 is a completely new project.
AO5 can be divided into 4 parts:

Awesom-O 5.0 core: The AO core is a proxy similiar to Redvex which allows us to manipulate Diablo by packet modifications. Furthermore to provide a lua script Api.
The lua scripts: Using the core's lua api the whole bot logic is written in scripts now and can be modified by anyone without the need to compile the core again.
The Controller: The Controller/Manager is the out of game handler which starts Diablo, logs into a game and watches for errors.
Maphack/Plugins: TBA once CTS finishes his maphack.

Getting started

* Download the .rar below and extract the folder to a directory of your choice "Desktop, Program Files, ect..; If you're really hardcore, you can extract it to your Diablo II folder".
* Copy and paste YourChar folder (in your scripts folder) and rename it after your bot character name (example: EjactsHammerOne).
* Configure your Settings.lua (PAY ATTENTION) and Sequence.lua in your character name folder. Pay special attention to spelling and case sensitivity. Most values in Settings.lua are true or false and must be spelled correctly and all lower case letters "true is not the same as True".
* Load AoManager, configure the Ao and Bot Settings. (Win7/Vista users run AoManager.exe as admin and disable the UAC)
* Hit Start.

Known bug(s)


* If you have more than one Tome of TP's on your character, your character won't cast TPs
* Success rate in AoManager drops 0% due to a small bug.
* Waveskills don't work yet.
* Bot might miss a mob (rarely) or attack an invisible monster for a moment.

This is a beta release for Awesom-O 5 and it's half ready plugins (Bot, Maphack(?) and Controller).
Note, this is a BETA, so it will most likely eat your children, steal your car and marry your wife in Vegas.
Common side-Fx include but are not limited to: relaxation, simplicity, fortune, spare time, head-aches, upset stomach, diarrhea, constipation, nose bleeds & BANS.

The LUA code is in its most simplest form, so everyone can learn the basics rather easily.
Do not hesitate to post your improvements, suggestions or scripts. They are most welcome.

Please be aware that this is a beta version. It might not work for everyone, although many of it's parts are already way better than in Ao 4.0
